We want to help you choose the best finding friends apps and sites for your needs. That’s why we’ll share all the details you need to know about this one in our review. We’ll include info on who uses the site, what its sign up process looks like, how safe it is, what it costs, plus more. So keep reading! Our complete Good Grief reviews are just below.

Good Grief Users:

You want to meet some new people and make friends. It makes total sense that you want to get a feel for Good Grief membership before deciding whether to sign up. We’re happy to report that most people who join this site do so to make friends. This means you’ll probably have an easy time connecting with Good Grief members who want the same things you do. If you’re looking for a more romantic or sexual connection, this might not be the ideal site for you. But, like we said, if you’re here because you want to meet new people for friendship, then Good Grief dating will likely work out well for you.

Good Grief App:

According to our research, this dating site has an app available for iPhone and Android. The Good Grief mobile app is a pretty good experience. While it’s more convenient to stay signed in using your app, some people might not want to download it. If this sounds like you, we want to let you know that you can get basically all the same features using the mobile site instead of the app. If you open the site in your mobile browser, you’ll be able to access the Good Grief desktop features using your phone. Whether you decide to download the app or not, the good news is that you’ve got a lot of options for how to interact with the site.

Good Grief Cons:

Special Features:

Good Grief Safety:

Let’s start with your burning questions: Is Good Grief safe? Before you sign up for a site like this, it’s always a good idea to research safety. A great place to start is with the site’s own safety page. This is a place where you can find specific Good Grief safety tips to help you have the best and safest experience using the site. If the site doesn’t have a safety page, join at your own risk. Plus, it’s always a good idea to get familiar with general safety tips before meeting new people online. Please reach out to Good Grief help to report the incident. You’ll be doing everyone a favor by helping make the site safer. You can also get in touch with the site’s admins if you need to cancel Good Grief membership at any time.

Good Grief Value for Money:

Okay, the next thing everyone wants to know: Is Good Grief free? It’s very common for dating sites like this one to advertise as free to join or to offer a free trial period. And yes, It’s technically free to join. But most users with a free membership have a hard time getting the most out of the site. If you’re using Good Grief free, you might find that you have restricted access or limited options when it comes to some of the site’s most important features, like messaging. Even the sites that are truly free to use can be noisy and full of distracting ads. For some people, this can be a big pain. If you have a hard time with busy ads, it might even be worth it to use the paid version of the site. This is where value takes on a personal significance for each of us. That’s right, we’re about to get all philosophical on you. When it comes to online dating, the idea of value is a moving target. This means that your idea of value might be really different from another person’s. Are you looking at value as the cost per date or the number of dates you actually go on? Or maybe you’re interested in marriage and value has to do with meeting that right person. Before joining a site like Good Grief, you might want to spend a little time defining the value you hope to get out of the site. Envisioning who you want to meet on a dating site and what kind of connection you’d like to create with them is an important first step. Once you have a clear sense of this, you’re much more likely to find experiences that line up with your individual definition of dating success. Good Grief Says…

Goodgrief is the social network for loss. Finally there’s a network where grieving people can privately connect, chat, and support each other in finding a new normal. Co-founders Kim and Robynne know first hand that grief is hard. All too often people are left to navigate the emotional rollercoaster alone. Finding others who personally understand loss makes all the difference. Together, they’ve developed a platform to help connect those in need. Goodgrief works by putting you in touch with others who lost their spouse, parent, sibling, child, relative, or friend due to a variety of causes. Create a private profile by answering questions related to your loss. Then, connect to other people through a one-on-one in-app texting service. Your private information is never seen publicly and chats are private and secure. Additional filters narrow your connections by age, gender, religion, time frame, and type and cause of loss. Start chatting today. If you or someone you know needs this app, join our community. You are not alone.Developed by Winnona Partners, LLCwinnonapartners.com

An app that can help you grieve with others that understand and can give solid advice on how they struggled and overcame their sadness. Yes there are people that use it for other than grieving, but follow the rules of the app and you’ll be fine. Thank you so much for this app it was a godsend. – Apple App Store

So this app is genuine. It can be helpful and what not. I’ve had the app for about 2 days thinking I could lend a shoulder or an ear to others like me but my category is very limited and also there were a lot of people who seemed suspicious. I had one person asking me questions about my credit score and if I needed help and what my phone service provider was like..that our conversation was confidential..what does that have to do with the loss of parents and my grieving process..what does it have to do with bereavement? Another person wanted me to add them on google hangouts and WhatsApp. Watch the certain people you “connect” with. If you’re extremely vulnerable it can just seem like these people or a person can get past you. And trust me that’s the worst thing and the worst feeling. I’m sad, I’m broken, and supposedly you’re seeming to try to take advantage of me or ask me unnecessary suspicious questions? Absolutely not. With this pandemic going on a lot of people are looking for outlets because we can’t go outside to get the ACTUAL help we need..one-on-ome. Therapy and counseling cost money but for a common person to connect and listen to me..and vice-versa costs nothing with the use of this app. – Apple App Store

The idea is great, and I have found connections with some good people. The bad part is that just about every man that comes on the app tries to pick me up. This is not a dating app!! With grief, I don’t want to be prejudiced against all men, as men grieve too, but I now block all men from being able to connect to me. EVERY single one hits on me, even after I tell them that I am married. I changed the settings to female only, but I still get requests from men. They also try to get me to use a different app or give them my phone number or email! Too many men are using this for purposes other than what it was created for. It is not always a safe space. – Apple App Store

I can’t get past the page were it is asking who was lost. The ap will not let me select. When I try the ‘get help with app’ from within the ap store it says my passwords is incorrect… it’s not.

I was suspended for what they say was incomplete profile. Even though I was active in the community and made genuine connections with others grieving. Never mind the men who treated the site like it was tinder or the multi level marketing scams that constantly messaged. Pretty sad. – Apple App Store

I have been looking for an outlet since my mother passed. I found this app and hoped for the best. It wasn’t what I expected, it felt more like a chat room than anything else. Lots of people felt creepy and not genuine asking for more info or to download other apps to chat privately. It felt like I was being scammed or hit on by creeps if the internet. I deleted it immediately. – Apple App Store

I was only on the app for about a week. I had been encouraged and began encouraging others. I had a connect request from someone and accepted it. She began asking for pictures and telling me she wanted a serious relationship. I am vulnerable after the loss of my spouse and we took it’ll the conversation out of the app and to a different platform. In “getting to know each other” I sent her a pic of me as a reply to one she sent to me. A day later I get suspended by the moderators of THIS app for “multiple accounts”, “previous suspensions”, and using the app “inappropriately”. After trying to explain twice via email I was met with the closed door in the face answer that I will remain suspended. Thanks but no thanks!! I was taken advantage of. But because I’m a man I guess I don’t count! – Apple App Store

I was excited to try this app until I was just ignored by anyone I tried to connect with or the ones wanting to connect with me only wanted to hit on me and not actually talk to me about loss. The idea of this app is a wonderful idea but not when you get people who hit on you or just get ignored. Yet again back to square one of feeling alone and I have come to the conclusion no one cares. – Apple App Store

Thought I found a great app to deal with the grief of losing my wife. It was disappointing to find I had to pay a fee. You should just charge upfront. I might have paid a couple bucks for the app if you where more honest – Google Play Store

You really need to announce upfront there is a fee to this app. It might be very helpful, and can even go a ways into helping to prevent suicide in someone considering it, but if someone is truly on the verge of killing themselves, but is seeking help and don’t have $5.00, you may just have aided them in committing suicide. Please consider saying there is a fee to your app, so those seeking help know in advance help is not free… – Google Play Store

Didn’t realize it was a pay app. In such a hard time, some people can’t afford to have to pay for an app. – Google Play Store

Did not realize it’s not free. The account sign up is a pain the email verification is weird. 30 mins to sign up only to uninstall. – Google Play Store
